Renewal and Replanning and More Replanning... And quite right too. This key site in Slough town centre deserved something special as part of Slough’s strategic renewal of this area, with offices and residential blocks replacing the rambling and decaying warehousing which had previously blighted this area to the rear of Slough station.

140 flats on 10 storeys in a stunning contemporary design. But to get to this point took month upon month of conceptual design, negotiation, meetings and sketches - not to mention modelling, CGIs, massing studies, sunlight/daylight analysis, and co-ordination with the on-going design development of the neighbouring sites, with which we share a hard and soft landscaped concourse.

Then came the recession ... and the whole thing ground to a halt.

Despite other sites in the Renewal area being in abeyance - even in receivership - we were able to help our Client revive this development, we achieved a good planning permission at local level, the build is very successful and sales were very strong
