DHA Architecture is pleased to have secured planning permission for a new residential development on Shipley Road, Southwater on behalf of Bellway Homes Southern Counties.
The approved scheme will deliver 73 new homes, including 40% affordable housing, providing much-needed housing for the local community.
Following a previous deferral, the project team worked closely with Horsham District Council to address the concerns raised during the planning process. By refining the proposals, including replacing apartments with maisonettes, the revised scheme was subsequently approved unanimously by Members.
This positive outcome reflects the value of collaborative working and a willingness to respond constructively to stakeholder feedback in order to achieve a successful planning solution.
