Located immediately west of the council offices in Farnborough, Meudon House presented an opportunity to create a distinctive contemporary residential development in a prominent town centre location.
The design uses a carefully considered palette of complementary grey tones to create a strong architectural composition. The building is arranged around a fully enclosed central courtyard, providing residents with a sheltered landscaped green space at the heart of the development.
Particular attention was given to daylight and sunlight throughout the design process. The southern section of the building was reduced in height to maximise natural light into the central courtyard and surrounding homes, balancing development potential with the quality of the residential environment.
